One of my favorite tunes . . .

U2 - Love Is Blindness
Love is blindness
I don't want to see
Won't you wrap the night
Around me
Oh my heart
Love is blindness

In a parked car
In a crowded street
You see your love
Made complete
Thread is ripping
The knot is slipping
Love is blindness

Love is clockworks
And cold steel
Fingers too numb to feel
Squeeze the handle
Blow out the candle
Love is blindness

Love is blindness
I don't want to see
Won't you wrap the night
Around me
Oh my love
Blindness

A little death
Without mourning
No call
And no warning
Baby...a dangerous idea
That almost makes sense

Love is drowning
In a deep well
All the secrets
And no one to tell
Take the money
Honey
Blindness

Love is blindness
I don't want to see
Won't you wrap the night
Around me
Oh my love
Blindness

I know I'm violating a number of Latter-day Saint taboos by loving this song, if only for its insinuating tempo, lyrics and mood in general but it's very close to some of the cavernous reaches of my broken inside . . .

  2. If you want, I have it on CD. I could copy it onto my PC and just send it to you, unless you were planning on using iTunes . . .

  3. Oh, this is the actual CD. I stopped using Kazaa years ago because #1) It is immoral in my mind to get something for "nothing"; #2) that "nothing" included numerous spyware programs; #3) it took FOREVER to download a song; #4) I would download anything, and then just have a gazillion second-rate songs on my PC; thus, iTunes helps me be more selective in my music choices.

  4. Oh, and as far as I know, Kazaa is still legal in the U.S.; it's Napster they've proscribed . . .

  5. Napster is legal now. Because you pay for the privilege. And who uses Kazaa anymore? That's so last year's illegal downloading program. Keep up with the trends, people!
